Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction
What is STEM Education?
Authentic STEM education offers all students an opportunity to engage with meaningful problems beyond the application of isolated pieces of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics learning. STEM education is more than the sum of its parts, functioning as a transdisciplinary that provides a way of approaching problems across contexts.
Grants for stem funding
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction supports schools and districts in their search for funding for STEM and related programs. First, they provide brief information about previous DPI STEM grants programs; second, they provide links to outside resources on writing effective grants and links to grant award programs across STEM disciplines.
