The STEM Forward Elizabeth Brauer Scholarship Application 

For female Milwaukee Public High School (MPS) Seniors

Application Deadline: Monday, March 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM

STEM Forward will award one deserving female Milwaukee Public High School senior an annual $3,000 scholarship, totaling $12,000 over four years. Qualified applicants must meet the following criteria: 

  • A female Milwaukee Public High School graduating high school senior (part of the Milwaukee Public School District only).

  • Have a 2.5 GPA or higher.

  • This scholarship will be awarded to a female graduate who plans to attend a two-year or four-year college or university in the fall of 2026 and pursue a STEM (science, technology, engineering, or math) degree.

  • References must be submitted, and at least one of your listed references must be a STEM teacher or mentor. STEM Forward will contact the references of selected finalists.

  • Note that children of a STEM Forward board or staff member are ineligible.

  • Yearly renewal is subject to the scholarship criteria being met.

The scholarship recipient will be recognized at the STEM Forward Invitational Golf Outing on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Morningstar Golf Course in Waukesha. The annual $3,000 check will be presented to the college or university where the student is enrolled. STEM Forward's scholarship program relies on contributions and proceeds from the annual outing.
