ROCKETS FOR SCHOOLS

The Rockets For Schools program addresses several national standards by its hands-on, minds-on approach to science and technology. This program is a fun and exciting way for kids to learn about space technologies while providing them with an opportunity to be part of an extraordinary team-building event. It provides an opportunity for students to participate in aerospace technology and rocket launches: to learn about rocket construction and to perform as part of a team. The overall goals Rockets For Schools aims to reach include but are not limited to making science exciting and cool, stimulating the academic interest of science, mathematics, and technology in students from grades 6-12, and aiding and encouraging students and the public in future aerospace pursuits. This program will provide students with help in developing team-building skills, access, knowledge, and participation in a space launch, learning experience in every area of STEM, and a chance for students to meet a U.S. Astronaut and industry professionals.
