MPS is hosting a 1st annual Explore STEM Expo on May 16, 2015 at Washington Park's Urban Ecology Center from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.  The event will provide an opportunity for students, families and the community to come together and actively experience STEM related activities.
 
Technology has become an ever increasing reality, putting more emphasis on STEM related careers. In MPS, we understand that STEM education is imperative not only for our students, but also for employers and our community. In order for students to be equipped with a skill set that aligns with future workforce demands, we
must stimulate their interest in these areas, provide more exposure, and enhance educational curriculum resources
that strengthen them in STEM areas.
