Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) is hosting a FREE summer workshop for high school students, introducing them to chemical technology and biotechnology.

This two-week course meets from 9:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Students can participate from June 19-29, 2017 or July 10-20, 2017.

The Science Talent Expansion Program (STEP) and the Biochemical Excellence in Science and Technology (BEST) grant are funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).

During this two-week workshop, students will be exposed to scientific inquiry of conducting experiments, recording data and analyzing results. Students will earn one college credit for completing the workshop. Lunch vouchers and free bus fare are included.
