Aviation Design Challenge for U.S. High School Students

The General Aviation Manufacturers Association hosts an annual competition to promote STEM skills in aviation to U.S. high school students. Registration is now open to the first 110 high schools that enter or until Jan. 13, 2018, as part of the 2018 competition.

The cost of the competition is free! Curriculum and software, through a partnership with Fly to Learn and X-Plane, will be provided. The winning team receives an all-expense paid, two-week trip to experience general aviation manufacturing firsthand during the summer.

One teacher per school may register. The team must be comprised of at least four students, and at least one must be female with an exception for single-sex schools. For more information about the Aviation Design Challenge, visit https://gama.aero/opportunities-in-ga/aviation-challenge.
