The National Society of Black Engineers is currently accepting applications for its Beyond STEM program, sponsored by MSOE.

Beyond STEM is a program that highlights the impact engineering has on daily life. Through hands-on projects, students learn about the joys, challenges and societal contributions that characterize four different engineering disciplines. Students have the opportunity to interact with practicing engineers and collegiate mentors in each discipline, enhancing their insight into what it takes to begin and sustain in a thriving engineering career. The program is designed for sixth- through eighth-grade students.
