The Mission of the Port of Milwaukee is to enhance the overall economic and social environment of the City of Milwaukee and the surrounding region by stimulating trade, business, and employment. Not only does the Port serve as the regional transportation and distribution center for Wisconsin and areas of Illinois and Minnesota, it also strives to support recreation and leisure for our region’s citizens making it more than just a transportation hub.
Join us for a presentation by Larry Sullivan, Chief Engineer of the Port of Milwaukee, as he discusses the history of the Port, its day-to-day operations, and the infrastructure issues they face. Learn about the variety of cargo the Port manages with safety and efficiency, and the multiple ways transportation plays a role in shipping and delivery.
